Illinois Network Alliance (INA) is a statewide telecommunications company providing high-speed broadband connections for Illinois communities. INA represents a consortium of local telecommunications companies formed in 2009 by combining significant Middle Mile broadband resources to better serve Last Mile Internet providers.

INA will expand its current network capacity in 2011 by connecting substantial fiber routes together throughout the state to develop a robust, highspeed broadband infrastructure. The INA network backbone will link Internet traffic from across the globe to local Last Mile providers that connect homes and businesses to the INA network. The additional bandwidth will give Last Mile providers an opportunity to extend their services to unserved or underserved rural areas.

With next generation bandwidth speeds of 10 Mbps-100 Gbps, INA's secure, dependable and redundant bandwidth will support cutting-edge technologies such as video conferencing, e-learning and telecommuting.
